A short poem that happens to reflect the ANEST COLLECTIVE SS22 collection by Swiss photographer Senta Simond. With the contemporary dances of Anna van Dieren of the Dutch National Ballet and Parisian dancer Sulian Rios, Senta Simond has made a candid and sensual record of costume and body, to intimacy.
Brendan Mullane, ANEST COLLECTOVE's special guest creative director, has created a series of works that seem to be covered by air 360° by explaining the design theme of "sensory and air" this season.Ivory-white walls and untouched concrete floors focus Senta Simon's lens on the two dancers, providing a way to express the form and movement around the body.
In the infinitely magnified dance posture, the dancers turn their bodies into soft sculptures, sculpt, describe, measure, and stretch freely.
The free and unobstructed lines brought about by the contours vividly describe the flow and change of shapes in the contours with a rather specific sense of quantity.
Using dance as a carrier, the ANEST COLLECTIVE 2022 Spring/Summer series presents the air that cannot be spied on with lightness on the senses.
